Harold Duckworth
Harold Duckworth passed away peacefully on May 2nd, 2024 at the age of 81. He was born in Beckley, West Virginia on July 2nd, 1942 to Earl and Neilly Duckworth. He is survived by his sister Nancy Main.
Harold was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was married to his first wife, Pauline Eighmey, and they had 3 children together: Amy Chatton, Paul (Edward Sleeseman) Duckworth, and Nita Williams. Harold married his second wife, Nancy Fogo, who had 3 children of her own: Scott (Jennifer) Fogo, Kim (Jim) Roberts and David (Denise) Fogo. Harold's grandchildren include: Ona-Marie, Austin, Darius, Christina, Kyle, Kailey, Joshua, Amanda, Spencer, Elliot, and Hannah.
Harold earned his Bachelors in Biblical Theology, and was called to the mission field overseas. He was a Pastor in Bryon, Ohio and a small business owner. He finally earned his Masters in Psychology and finished his career as a Psychologist at Jackson prison.
He loved people, singing, playing his guitar and banjo. Harold fell in love with travel from his Missionary work and traveled around the world with his loving wife Nancy. Harold and Nancy were members of the Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Brighton, and they were involved with different programs and Bible studies. Also, they were a part of the CMI choir (Concert Ministries Inc.) that performed every year.
A memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church at 9455 Hilton Rd, Brighton, MI 48114, on June 1st at 11.00 am. Please join us to celebrate Harold Duckworth’s life.
