Goldie Sue Reynolds
Goldie “Sue” Reynolds, 85, of Fowlerville, Michigan died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday April 21, 2024 at Wellbridge of Brighton Nursing Home.
Sue was born in Harwood, Missouri on April 20, 1939 to Harold and Neoma Hicks. She was a 1958 graduate of Fowlerville High School. Sue loved to participate in sports, playing softball and bowling. (For several years she was a scorekeeper at a local Evansville, Indiana Ball Field.) Being a part of the Hicks family, Sue loved the competitive family card games, in particular Spoons! Sue also loved to play scrabble, do crossword puzzles, and watch Jeopardy. Probably her favorite things to do was to shop at thrift stores (esp. Goodwill) to buy things for her grandchildren.
Sue is survived by her sons: Phillip (Jennifer) Reynolds of Howell; Donald (Jill) Reynolds of Capac; grandchildren: Melissa, Sarah, Ian, Ryan, Jessica, Ashley, Alison, Adrianne, Amily, Talise, and Tatum; 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters: Sylvia LaBuschewsky of Fowlerville and Kimberly (Warren) Niblock of Howell. Sue was preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael Reynolds
A Memorial time for Sue was being held Saturday April 27th at 11:00 am at the VFW Hall in Fowlerville.
