Wayne Eugene Copeland
Wayne Eugene Copeland, age 90, of Fowlerville, Michigan, passed away on April 17, 2024, at his residence.
He was born on February 13, 1934, in Fowlerville.
He is survived by his beloved wife Susan of 34 years, sister Doris Hallock, and children Vickie (Larry) Kessler, Debbie (Reg) Craigo, Gary (Dawn) Copeland, Karen O'Neil and their mother Elaine Copeland Dalessandro, Peggy (Bob) Kelly, Michael (Dee) Kelly, Amanda (Eric) Dumont, 14 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Cleo Copeland, and brothers Clare and Elwood Copeland.
Wayne was known for his wit, kindness and strong work ethic. He dedicated many years to community service such as Masons, Rotary and the Fowlerville Fair. Wayne also had a successful career as a Farmer, Copeland Construction, and retired from the Livingston County Road Commission and he served many years on the Fowlerville Village Council.
In his leisure time, Wayne enjoyed playing golf, mowing the lawn, and passionately supported Michigan State University as a fan.
A celebration of Wayne's life will be held on May 18, 2024, at 1 PM at the family farm, 6572 Hayner Rd. Fowlerville Michigan 48836.
The Herrmann Funeral Home in Fowlerville, Michigan, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Wayne will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched with his warmth and dedication.
