Keith Russell Geer
It is with much sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of Keith Russell Geer, age 62, of Fowlerville, Mi. on Good Friday March 29, 2024. Keith was born in Lansing, Mi. on September 23, 1961. He was a lifelong resident of Fowlerville.
He is preceded in death by his parents Victor and Morna (Phillips) Geer and an older brother Charles. He is survived by an older brother Michael and two younger sisters Susan Ogden and Patricia Rife, along with several nieces and nephews.
Keith has been a fighter since age 12 of a lifelong debilitating disease called Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva, commonly known as FOP.
Keith lived on Collins Street and was often seen tooling around town in his wheelchair. He seldom complained of his condition.
We the family take great comfort in knowing that it is truly a blessing that Keith now can escape the entrapment of his body and his suffering and is in the loving arms of his Lord Jesus. He is at peace. He was known and loved by many and we will miss him.
A Celebration of Life service was being held at the First Baptist Church of Fowlerville on April 6, 2024, with visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm and the service at 1:00pm. A luncheon was to follow at the church.
