Marilyn Kaye Horton
Marilyn K. Horton, 83, of Lansing, Michigan went to be with the Lord December 17, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 15, 1939 in Fowlerville, Michigan to Harold and Evelyn Horton. Marilyn was a loyal employee to First of America Bank for many years.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her siblings: Stuart (Jerri) Horton, Rod (Kathy) Horton, Dennis (Suzette) Horton, and Carol Ward.
Services for Marilyn took place Thursday, December 22, 2022, beginning at 11:00 AM at Capital City Baptist Church with Pastor Perkins and Steve Lang officiating, The family accepted visitors at the church one hour prior to the service, as well as on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Vickers Leslie Funeral Home in Leslie.
Marilyn was laid to rest at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Capital City Baptist Church or Youth Haven Ranch, 3796 Perrine Rd, Rives Junction, MI 49277. Arrangements entrusted to Vickers Leslie Funeral Home 109 N. Church Street/P.O. Box 503, Leslie, Michigan 49251.
