Suzanne G. Bigos
Suzanne G. Bigos, age 87, of Gregory, died Tuesday, December 6, 2022. She was born September 17, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan to Kenneth and Grace (McHugh) Warren and married Bernard in Royal Oak on August 16, 1958.
She graduated from Mercy High School in 1953 and Michigan State University in 1958. She was a long term substitute teacher for the Fowlerville Community Schools and a long time member of St. Agnes Catholic Church.
Suzanne will be remembered for her love and dedication to family, faith, and friends. She was the social butterfly of the family. She was very caring and able to meet and make friends wherever she went. She loved working with all types of farm animals along with her golden retrievers. Perch fishing at her cottage in Au Gres, spending winters in Florida with her husband, baking, sewing, knitting, and watching her grandchildren play sports were some of her favorite hobbies.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Bigos; twin sons, Danny and Donald; one grandson; and her parents. Surviving are her three sons: Bruce (Elly) Bigos, David Bigos and Doug (Sheryl) Bigos, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and sister, Kathie Copeland.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12, from 3- 7 PM at Herrmann Funeral Home, with a scripture service held at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 13 at 11:00 AM at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Fr. Nathanial Sokol officiating. Interment will be held in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions to St. Agnes Catholic Church.
