Margaret Susan Evers-Truhn
Margaret Susan Evers-Truhn passed peacefully on October 12, 2022, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, “Dickie” Richard J. Truhn. Her incredible endless energy and feisty character and her bright beautiful blue eyes and smile were infectious to all who her knew her. Her love for the Detroit Tigers is legendary but is second only to her devotion and love for her family, her friends and her “P-Nutt”. Sue exemplified compassion to all. Never a stranger to anyone. She wrote the book on how to love one another. How blessed we are to have had her in our lives. Sue’s memory will remain a beacon of love for us all. She is and will always be missed.
She is survived by her son: Michael Oxford and daughter Valahrae Oxford; her brothers: Dick (Barb) Evers, Jim (Joan) Evers, Ed (Jeanie) Evers, Phil (Laura) Evers; sister: Rita Evers (Joe). By marriage: her daughters: Dar Glenn, Dawn (Chuck) Stringer, Deanna Swan and son Doug (Ruthie) Truhn. She has 120+ grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents: Hans & Sarah Evers; her siblings: Marie, Pete, Don, Marj; and her son Anthony Oxford.
Memorial Service will be Saturday November 12, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Herrmann Funeral Home Fowlerville MI. The family will receive friends at Noon prior to the service.
