Karen Lee Kunde

Karen Lee Kunde, 56 of Fowlerville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at home.

Karen married the love of her life Paul Frederick Kunde on July 26, 2003, and they were together for 19 amazing years.

Born in Farmington Hills, Karen was the daughter of George and Lois White. She attended school in Farmington Hills, where she graduated. Then she proceeded to go to Specs Howard Broadcasting School and worked for a time in radio broadcasting.

When the Grille in the Ville opened in December of 2012, Karen started working there as a waitress. She knew her customers well and really brightened up the dining room with her cheerful personality and smile. Karen continued at the restaurant until its closing on March 19, 2020. She then worked for Fowlerville Feed & Pet Supplies.

Karen loved to go camping with all her friends and her husband with their vintage camper and truck. She enjoyed hanging out around the campfire and just having fun. She also loved riding around in the combine with her husband during harvest season.

Words cannot express how kind and caring Karen was. She would do anything for anyone as she had a giant heart and loved life.

Karen was preceded in death by her father George White and stepdaughter Carrie Kunde.
