Marian Elizabeth (Douglas) Allen
Loving sister, aunt, cousin and friend, Marian, 71, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2022. Marian was born on March 30, 1950 in Ingham County to the late Clarence and Frances (Crandall) Douglas. She grew up in Webberville and attended Webberville Schools, graduating in 1968.
Marian loved spending time with family, everything about Christmas, collecting cows, trying new recipes, the Detroit Tigers, crazy socks and Elvis. She was always ready for a good card game, a trip to the casino or any other adventure her crazy cousins would come up with. Marian worked for a variety of companies through her life, but was best known for being the always friendly greeter at Meijer in Okemos.
Surviving Marian are siblings Ruth Ann (Ken) Rice, Walter (Susan) Douglas; sister-in law Linda Douglas; nieces Tammy (Steve) Grossbauer, Kelly (Mark) Zemla and Jolie Danielson; nephews David Douglas, JW (Dani) Douglas and Michael (Colleen) Douglas; many great nieces and great nephews; those crazy cousins and special furry friend Tank. Marian was preceded in death by her brother David and infant brother Michael.
A memorial service to honor Marian will be held at a later date. Donations on Marian’s behalf can be made to the American Heart Association or the Ingham County Animal Shelter.
