Groundbreaking being held for new Fowlerville Fire Station this Tuesday
The public is invited to attend the groundbreaking of the new Fowlerville Fire Station at 2 p.m. this Tuesday, April 19. The ceremony will take place at the 5.6-acre building site, located on West Grand River, just west of Gregory Road.
Construction work will start later this spring, with completion expected a year from now. The project has an estimated cost of around $6 million. The new 17,900 square-foot station will replace the hall on North Grand Avenue.
Along with the general public, the Fowlerville Fire Board, department members, local governmental officials, and area lawmakers have been invited to the event.
