Margaret M. Hanna

Margaret Hanna, age 85 of Fowlerville, Michigan passed away peacefully on February 12, 2022. She was born on October 7, 1936, in Howell Michigan to the late Thomas Clapper and Lorna (Washburn) Clapper. She married Earl Leland Hanna on December 26, 1955.
Margaret was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, baking, and traveling. Margaret, along with her husband, sons, brothers, and their spouses, spent many summer vacations in Curtis, Michigan on Little Manistique Lake.
She was also a talented seamstress who made beautiful quilts that are treasured by many of her family members.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 66 years, Earl Leland Hanna of Fowlerville, her brother Thomas Clapper, and her son Steven (Barbara) Hanna of Fowlerville. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Joshua Hanna, Allison (Matt) DeGroot, Nicole Hanna (her mother Juliann) and her great grandchildren: Mackenna, Morgan, Averi, Ella and Sophia, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved son Kevin Hanna and her brother William Clapper and sisters Florence, Mary, and Josephine.
Her visitation and funeral was held on Friday, February 18, 2022. Visitation began at 10am with the funeral following at 12 pm at Herrmann Funeral Home in Fowlerville, Michigan. Interment followed the funeral at Greenwood Cemetery.
