Planning is underway for the local ‘Wreathes Across America’ observance on Saturday, Cec. 19.
The Fowlerville 4th of July Fireworks Committee will be holding the event at Greenwood Cemetery on that date. The program will start at 12 noon, coinciding with the ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery and similar events at around 2,500 other cemeteries across the nation.
All of the branches of the military, along with first responders will be honored.
