Livingston County United Way’s ‘Matching Money Monday’ is Dec. 7

We are almost through 2020 and all of us are thinking about 2021.  At United Way, that means raising money before the end of 2020, to pay for next year’s community programs.

This year’s ‘Matching Money Monday’ event is more important than ever as many of our funded partners have been hit hard this year and will need all the support we can give for next year.  Please consider joining us on this very special day.  All donations received on Monday, December 7, will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to total funds available! In fact, ‘Matching Money Monday’ is the single largest one-day fundraiser in Livingston County!

All donations raised from ‘Matching Money Monday’ go directly to help our local working families, many of whom are struggling to put food on their tables, keeping their lights & heat on, and a roof over their heads.

If you have ever wondered how matching works, it is from the generosity of amazing sponsors who agree to cover the match each year.  And this year, they have gone above and beyond to cover what comes in!  ‘Matching Money Monday 2020’ is possible through these generous sponsors: Ted & Jane Von Voigtlander Foundation, Howell Rotary’s Tour de Livingston, Ascension, AAA Service Network, LCUW Past & Present Board Members, Bob Maxey Ford, Fifth Third Bank, General Motors Milford Proving Ground, Redi-Wall, The Musch Family and Anonymous Sponsors.

So please consider supporting our Livingston County Families on December 7th!  You can donate online at www.lcunitedway.org, by phone (810-494-3000), or drop off donation to Livingston County United Way office at 2980 Dorr Rd, Brighton, MI 48116. The building drop off has changed a little this year and will be more of a drive though drop off, but no worry, we will still have cookies safely prepared and individually wrapped for each person!
