George Londy
George Londy, a Fowlerville, Michigan resident, was born July 9, 1922 in Detroit and passed away September 21, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 77 years Virginia, three children Patricia, Susan, and George, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild.
George was a World Ware II U.S. Army veteran earning a Bronze Star, Philippine Liberation and Asiatic Pacific Theater ribbon. He was a Mason with the Detroit and Fowlerville lodges, and a Shriner. George loved baseball all of his life and played in an over-70 league in Lansing until age 96.
A viewing was held from 5 to 7pm on Thursday, Sept. 24th at the Herrmann Funeral Home in Fowlerville, and a graveside service took place on Friday, Sept. 25th at 12 noon at the Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia.
