Grandma’s Attic Sale taking place August 27-28-29
at fairgrounds
The annual Grandma's Attic Sale, sponsored by the Livingston Centre Historic Society, will begin this coming Thursday, Aug., 27 at 9:00 a.m. in the Commercial Building just inside the Fowlerville Fairgrounds. It runs through Saturday, Aug. 29, and ends at 4:00 p.m. each day. There's plenty of free parking surrounding the building.
All profits from the sale are used for maintenance and restoration of the buildings inside the historic village.
The annual Grandma's Attic Sale was postponed from late spring, due to the current health crisis our nation is facing. Organizers continue to plan measures that will keep everyone healthy. Please remember that while this is an open-air building, in the interest of safety for all who support the Historic Society, we will
--offer sanitizing stations,
--encourage social distancing, and
--require masks.
Please be considerate of your Fowlerville neighbors if you are not feeling well; we'd rather you come again next year than risk your health, or the health of others.
This is always a big sale! The thousands for Items include:
furniture, clothing,
kitchen and household, toys,
tools and hardware items, fabrics and crafts,
books and tapes/dvd's, sporting goods,
collectables and vintage items.
We regret that we are unable to offer large appliances or computers this year.
Donations continue to be accepted through 4:00pm on Wed., Aug. 27. Set up will be Tues. and Wed. of that week. Volunteers are still needed for set-up. Any families looking for community service opportunities for teenagers or young adults would be most welcome. The Historic Society appreciates all the community support for this important fundraiser.
