Livingston Educational Service Agency 19th Annual Backpacks for Kids Project being held on August 6th
The Livingston Educational Service Agency is gearing up for our 19th Annual Backpacks for Kids Project. The Backpacks for Kids/Connect for Kids Project provides basic school supplies, at no cost, to students in Livingston County whose families are experiencing financial difficulties. This year’s Backpacks for Kids/Connect for Kids Project will be held on August 6th at the Livingston ESA Education Center.
The Backpacks for Kids event will be held on August 6, 2020 at the Livingston ESA’s Education Center. For your health and safety, this year’s Backpacks for Kids event will be a drive through event. Please refer to the schedule below for your local district’s time slot.
Families participating in the Backpacks for Kids & Connect for Kids event are being asked to follow the directions below:
➔ Please arrive during your district’s schedule time (refer to the schedule below)
➔ Please enter the Livingston ESA parking lot from Highlander Way.
➔ Signs will be posted and volunteers will be available to help direct visitors through the parking lot.
➔ Backpacks will be on school buses. As you approach the school buses, a volunteer will ask if the student needs an elementary or middle/high school backpack and then s/he will hand the backpack(s) to the vehicles – you will not need to leave your vehicle.
➔ The Salvation Army will also be available to distribute meals and groceries.
➔ You will then be directed out of the parking lot onto Grand River Avenue.

Brighton Area Schools 10 am – 12 pm
Fowlerville Community Schools 12 pm – 2 pm
Hartland Consolidated Schools 2 pm – 4 pm
Howell Public Schools 4 pm – 6 pm
Pinckney Community Schools 6 pm – 8 pm
