The Livingston Arts Council is thrilled to welcome back Neil Woodward, Michigan’s Troubadour, along with special guest performers for a night of warm acoustic traditional and original music and friendship. The show will be Friday, Oct. 5 at The Howell Opera House.
Neil brings to life the Michigan experience through his musical performances and storytelling that preserve Great Lakes folk music and culture, and is also the recipient of the 2018 Michigan Heritage Award.
A professional performing and recording musician, Gary Weisenburg has dedicated his life to music. Known for his heartwarming vocals, multi-faceted instrumentation, as well as his original compositions, he continues to perform and record with many Michigan area musicians, including his lifelong friend Neil Woodward.
Suzanne & Jim are musicians who explore new directions by looking back into the roots of Americana music and lore. This husband and wife team blend their voices and instruments in songs of an earlier time. The stories told by these old songs (and the stories behind the songs) not only relate tales of a bygone era but open a window into the origins of our modern culture.
Doors open at 7pm– show begins at 7:30. Tickets are $15 per person; please call our office at 517-540-0065 for reservations
