A pet loss support group, “Lost Paws,” is meeting at the Plainfield United Methodist Church on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. This group is for animal lovers: Who’s pet has passed away (recently or years ago). Who pet is missing. Who have a pet that is having health issues, or is getting on in years. Who want to connect with other animal lovers in the community. Who think of their pets as family, which includes any and all pets, whether they have hooves, talons, paws, fins, fur, or feathers, and may range from a mouse to an elephant.
The purpose of this support group is to reach out into the community and offer comfort and companionship to those who are grieving or suffering, or anticipate that they will be due to the loss of a pet.
