St. John's Lutheran Church continues their tradition of hosting the annual Pig Roast when members serve the community meal on Saturday, September 8 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Coal-roasted pork leads the menu with baked beans, sweet corn, coleslaw, fries and dessert. Free will donations will be accepted to support the outreach ministries of St. John's.
The congregation is an active partner with the Family Impact Center food pantry as well as serving as a partner congregation with Love INC of Greater Livingston. With this partnership the congregation offers a personal needs pantry as well as a bus token ministry.
