Susan Elizabeth Robb Celadilla
   Susan Elizabeth Robb Celadilla, 69, of Haines City, FL passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland, Florida. Susan was born December 17, 1947 to George and Barbara Jean Robb of Fowlerville, Michigan. 
    Susan dedicated her life to teaching and helping others.   She was a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic where she met her loving husband Julio. Susan loved to promote the important work of the Peace Corps and had continued involvement with the Retired Peace Corps Volunteer Group.  Susan was also a 4-H member and leader for many years.  Susan continued to educate by teaching English to Spanish in schools, churches and adult literacy programs.  Susan retired from teaching after 19 years. She taught at Wyoming Public Schools (MI), Greenville (MI), Imlay City (MI), Florida City (FL) and Homestead (FL) schools.
    After retirement, she moved to Haines City, Florida in 2008 from Byron Center Michigan. Susan was an active member of St. Ann Catholic Church. She was past president of the Altar and Rosary Society, member of St Vincent de Paul volunteering at the food pantry and taught Spanish to English classes.
    Susan was an avid reader, golfer, researcher and recorder of family history. She loved to travel and was happiest when she could mix all of the above. 
    Susan was preceded in death by infant son Jonathon, her parents George and Barbara Jean Robb, and sister Marge Kovacic.  
     A loving wife, mother, grandmother, she is survived by her husband of 38 years, Julio;  stepson Julio Alberto of New York City, New York, son Leandro of Boston, MA and daughter Lilian of Memphis, TN, and 8 grandchildren, Jumil, Jeidy, Yorleni, Jazleni, Arijana, Jada, Kameron, Amaiya.  Susan is also survived by her siblings:  Sally Mooney, Mary Jane Robb, George William Robb, Ross Robb, Patricia Hyde and Julia Robb-Herbert, 16 nieces and nephews and numerous grand nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services have already been held in Haines City, Florida.  A graveside blessing will be held on April 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Howell, Michigan followed by a Celebration of Life luncheon at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Fowlerville, Michigan.  
     In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Ann Catholic Church Altar Society or a memorial tribute gift to the Friends of the Dominican Republic (FDR) www.fotdr.org, a non-profit group of former Dominican Republican Peace Corps Volunteers that provide small grants to support projects and programs involving current Peace Corps Volunteers in the Dominican Republic.
