Dorothy E. Lott
     Dorothy E. Lott, age 74, of Fowlerville, was carried from this earth on the wings of an angel on April 11, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born on May 25, 1942 and raised on a farm in Fowlerville. She was the second of seven children born to Ted and Marion (Gilbert) Dey.
   She graduated from Fowlerville High School in 1960. From there she attended Lansing Business University, graduating in 1962 with a degree in accounting. On August 17, 1963, Dorothy married William E. Lott.
   Her greatest passion was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved traveling and also enjoyed bowling. She would travel to competitions with her bowling team where they would have memorable and hilarious adventures.
    Dorothy worked at several companies over the years in their accounting departments.
    Dorothy is survived by her two sons: Bryan Lott and Jeff Lott; her daughter: Brenda (Nathan) Graham; four grandchildren: Chelsea, Zachary, Marion, and Allison; a great-grandson, Mason; two sisters: Thea (Rex) Graves and Carol Oliver; two brothers: Roy Dey and Ward (Peggy) Dey; along with several nieces and nephews and her many cousins.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her sister, Nita Speidel; her brother, Rick Dey; and a niece, Desiree Clark.
    A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 24, starting at 11 a.m. at a Place of Refuge Ministries, 6909 E. Grand River, Fowlerville. Pastor Robert Storey will officiate the service.
