Livingston Centre Historic Village Committee to hold meeting May 4
The monthly meeting of the Livingston Centre Historic Village will be Thursday, May 4th at 7:00 p.m. in the Fair Office. Summer activities continue to be the primary discussion topics. Any interested people are welcome; come to the meeting and find out about all the important work of preserving and restoring these Livingston County historic structures.
The May agenda includes planning for the Annual Gramma's Attic Sale. It is scheduled for June 15 - 17 inside the commercial building at the Fowlerville Fairgrounds. Donations are requested to help make this fundraiser a success; it is the largest fundraiser of the year and all profits benefit the historic buildings found inside Livingston Centre Village. Your good-condition items can be donated at the fairgrounds June 13 - 14, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Old electronics such as TV's, computers and monitors, and other similar items are not accepted. If you have items to donate but are unable to bring them to in, please call Marj Carlon at 517-223-3831, arrangements can be made to pick up your items.
Planning continues, as well, for the annual Restoration Raffle, which will conclude with the drawing at the Sept. 30th Fall Festival. There will be a minimum of 6 great prizes. Raffle tickets will be sold during the summer, including Fair week, under the Grandstand. Watch this space for more information on Historic Centre activities at the Fair.
