Anthony (Tony) Blascovich
Anthony (Tony) Blascovich of Fowlerville died surrounded by family at his home on Monday June 3, 2024, at the age of 66.
Tony is survived by his wife of 42 years Amber (Redfield) Blascovich, his son Vincent (Vinnie) Blascovich, his daughter Rachel (Blascovich) Quinn, his son-in-law Darrel Quinn, granddaughters Eliana and Rylah Quinn, sister Doreen (Robert) Redinger, brother Angelo (Pat) Blascovich, sister Catheryn Downing, sister-in-law Kelly Redfield-Varcoe, and many nieces and nephews.
Tony was born in Adrian, MI to parents Charles and Dolly (Jones) Blascovich. Dolly passed away in 1962 when Tony was 4-1/2 years of age. Charles later married Ruth Utter and moved to Riverside California where Tony grew up. Upon graduating high school, Tony enlisted in the US Navy on November 20, 1976. He served aboard the USS Farragut (DDG37) and completed two-and-a-half Mediterranean cruises. He then joined the Naval Reserve SeaBees out of Lansing, MI serving out the remainder of his 22-year career. Upon his honorable discharge in 1979 he moved back to Fowlerville where he met Amber, married and raised their children.
Tony worked as an Electrician, retiring after 42 years out of Service Electric in Brighton, Mi. He also served as a volunteer Fowlerville Firefighter during the early and into the late ‘80's.
He loved spending time with family and friends, being a grandfather (Poppi), playing golf, hunting, fishing, camping, barbecuing and rooting for all things Detroit Sports.
His love and dedication to his family and friends was boundless. He will be missed by many.

Visitation took place on Thursday, June 6, from 2-7 pm. Funeral was on Friday, June 7, at 11 am, with burial following at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
