Sandra Lynn Risdon
Sandra Lynn Risdon peacefully passed away on May 16, 2024 at age 69, surrounded by family. She was born on July 22, 1954 in Ann Arbor, MI to Richard and Mildred Brewer.
She is survived by her beloved husband of over 51 years Brian Risdon of Monroe, NC. She was a loving and devoted mother to four daughters: Kelly (Derek) Nugent, Amy (Peter) Gust, Julie (Duwan) Langdon and Angie Risdon (boyfriend Curtis Harman). She was a proud grandmother of seven: Riley and Grady Nugent; Sophia and Harper Gust as well as Kierah, Kennedy and Korie Langdon.
She is also survived by four siblings: her sisters Kim (David) Hune, Christine (David) Martinez, and Denise (Daniel) Wolverton, and her brother Steven (Michelle) Brewer.
Her brother Richard Brewer preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents Richard and Mildred Brewer.
Sandy was a hard worker, devoted wife and mother. She was a business owner (Sandy’s Korner Closet in Fowlerville, MI) and worked in the kitchen at Fowlerville High School for many years before moving to North Carolina with her husband where they lived together for 22 years. Sandy loved music and dancing. Everywhere she went she was the life of the party, and she could always make people laugh. She cherished her family, her dog Nulla and her friends. She was a lover of life who will be missed by everyone who knew her.
