Owosso SUMMERPraise! continues with Ohio family on Sunday, July 31st
SUMMERPraise! will meet for its fourth concert on Sunday, July 31st at 7:30 p.m. at the Mitchell Amphitheater, 225 N. Water St. in Owosso. The popular gospel music series will feature the Ohio-based Lore Family in concert.
Darren Lore had been senior pastor of two congregations; first pastoring in Huntington, West Virginia for 6 years, then Ohio for 14 years. The Lore Family began their ministry in the tri-state area of Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia; they now have traveled all across the United States and into Canada.
The Lore Family includes Darren and his wife Sandy, his daughter Fayth and her husband Jake Whisnant, and his son Samuel(who is married to Rebekah). They started a radio and digital ministry in March 2009. They have eight recorded projects, including their latest three at Daywind Studio in Nashville, TN. Their current songs, “The World Needs A Song”and “I Bring You Jesus” were produced by Roger Talley, and are charted in The Singing News.
You’re invited to join the event at 7:20 for a hymn-sing-along with Mike Reath before The Lore Family takes the Amphitheater stage. An offering will be taken. You should bring a lawn chair or blanket. The Church of the Nazarene, 1865 S. M-52 is the alternate rain site.
