Beginner Sewing (Adults & Teens)

Are you interested in sewing but don’t know where to start? Do you struggle to sew a straight line? If so, this is the program for you! Join Tally to learn how to use a sewing machine and increase your confidence. Second project is making makeup remover pads & reusable napkins.

Michigan Works! Jobseeker and Education Workshops

2nd Wednesdays, 12:00pm – 1:30pm

Michigan Works! can help people of all ages with one-on-one career coaching, resume writing, job search assistance, skills training, computer training, and more! Get direct help at the workshops or come and learn the ways they can also assist young adults, ages 16 - 24, with education assistance, paid work experience, transportation, and even interview and work clothing.

You’ll find Shelly and her book loving dog Bosco waiting in the children’s area from 4:00 to 5:00. Bosco wants some two-legged friends to come and read him their favorite books.
