Elizabeth Ann Sessions
Elizabeth Ann Sessions (Brayton), of Fowlerville Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on June 29th, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was 90 years old. Beth was born on January 12, 1932 to Wayne and Mary Brayton in Howell, Michigan.
In 1951 Beth married Robert Sessions of Fowlerville where they resided and raised their five children.
Beth is survived by her three children: Bill Sessions, Barb (Richard) Hibbard and Norma (Curt) Pattee, her nine grandchildren: Chris (Anne) Sessions, Sam (Trey) Hughes, Jamie Sessions, Eric Sessions, Clarice (Jacob) Gaines, Joel and Brett Pattee and Zach and Grant Hibbard. She is also survived by her five great grandchildren: Avery, Anthony and Drew Hughes, Leah Lintz and Nevaeh Sessions.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, sons Wayne and Ed “Fred” Sessions, her brother Dick Barkhurst and sister Jean Lewis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, her two parakeets and her dog Shadow.
Beth was a beautiful, loving and generous soul. She loved to crochet blankets and make quilts for her family. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, playing on the computer, crossword puzzles, bird watching, gardening, canning and making homemade bread and sharing it with her family. She also loved playing euchre every opportunity that she had and in her younger years played almost every weekend with family and friends. Beth truly loved spending time with her family. Making Sunday roast beef dinners were a staple for many years. And the potato salad she made was the best on the planet!
She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Fowlerville. In memory of Beth, memorial contributions can be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday July 5, 2022 at St. Agnes Catholic Church.
