Livingston Centre Historic Village committee to meet July 5th at fair office

Committee members of the Livingston Centre Historic Village will meet Tuesday, July 5, 7:00pm at the Fowlerville Fair Office.

Those present will discuss the schedule for Fair Week. Staff and volunteers are needed to fill 2 - 4 hour shifts from Monday afternoon through Saturday afternoon. Three buildings need volunteers to welcome guests during the six days. No experience is needed—there are printed materials to hand out that detail the history of the Village and its 8 buildings. Without adequate volunteers, some buildings will remain closed some of the time, leaving fairgoers to miss out on learning of Livingston County's history.

The agenda will also include initial planning for the Oct. 1st Fall Fest. The Saturday event is now accepting requests from food service groups and trucks, local musicians and artisans, arts and crafts vendors, as well as sellers of collectible items. More details will follow; watch your News & Views for continuing updates. Volunteers are also needed for this event—please consider joining in this fun day.

Please contact Matt D. at 517-294-6710 for further information.
