Adam Patrick Kane
Adam Patrick Kane 59, passed away peacefully on Friday March 1, 2019. Adam was born on March 18, 1959 to Larry and Betty (Hart) Kane. He graduated from Fowlerville High School in 1977. Adam served in the United States Army, owned and trained many standardbred racehorses, drove semi for C&W Horse Transport, was a bartender and plant supervisor, and most of all he was a great son, brother, and friend.
Surviving Adam are his mom, Betty Kane; brothers, Tom (Kathleen) Kane, John (Mary) Kane, Chris (Rose) Kane; and sister, Kate (Don) Marotta. Also surviving are his nephews, Donald, Robert, Jordan, Jeffrey, Connor, and Grady and his nieces, Jessica, Lauren, Hillary, Calypso, Remington and Emerson. Adam also had many “great” nieces and nephews that also survive him. He was affectionately known as “Uncle Buck” to them, and he absolutely loved each and every one of them.
Adam loved spending time with his friends, going to the horse races, and playing cards (poker was his favorite). Adam was a former member of the United States Trotting Association and the Michigan Harness Horsemen’s Association as were his Grandpa Kane and his Dad Larry.
One of Adam’s very favorite pastimes was watching high school wrestling. He was a great supporter of the Fowlerville High School wrestling team, attending numerous meets.
A celebration of Adam’s life will be held on April 28th from 2-5pm at the Fowlerville VFW Hall.
