The monthly meeting concerning the Livingston Centre Historical Village committee will be Thursday, April 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Fowlerville Fair office.
Discussion will primarily involve continued planning for the annual Gramma's Attic fundraiser, May 16 - 18. Volunteers can pick up your donation if delivery is not possible---call Marj at 517-223-3831; days for your drop-off to the fairgrounds will be announced in the coming weeks. As in years past, the sale will be held in the commercial building near the front gate of the fairgrounds. Large appliances and most electronic equipment cannot be accepted but most other things can; watch this space for a more complete list.
Early plans are being made for the Sept. 14 Fall Fest. Members will soon be selling raffle tickets for the September drawing. Prizes are sure to be delightful, details will be follow as they become available. Applications are already being accepted for handcrafted item sales booths, traditional skill demonstrations, and food vendors. Please contact Bette Kelly at 517-546-8797 for rental information. Organizers continue to increase events that involve and entertain the entire family.
As always, new faces are welcome at the monthly meeting; fresh ideas and input is valuable as the committee looks to resume repairs inside the Historic Village as weather allows.
