Ronald William Sampey
Ronald William Sampey of Fowlerville passed away December 8, 2018. Ron was born on December 24, 1937 to Dale and Geraldine Sampey. On August 30, 1957 Ron married the love of his life, Donna. They were married for 52 years until her passing in 2010. Ron was a loving Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. Ron was an engineer and retired from work in 2002. He loved playing softball with the church, jogging, golfing, and racquetball. He loved the Lord and that was evident in his life. He was very active with the church and always volunteered when he could.
His 5 children survive Ron. They are: Dennis (Liza) Sampey, Diane (Joe) Garlow, Tim (Mary) Sampey, Bob (Heather) Sampey, and Dan. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive him. His wife Donna Louis Sampey, his son Ronald Stephen Sampey, his sisters Shirley Justice and Sharon Corser, and his parents Dale and Geraldine preceded him in death.
Visitation and funeral services were held at Herrmann Funeral Home in Fowlerville. Visitation was held from 2-8pm on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, and also from 10-11am on Wednesday Dec. 12, 2018 with the service beginning at 11am. Internment followed at the Sanford Cemetery.
