Otho (Lew) LewisOtho (Lew) Lewis, 87, passed away at his home in Fowlerville on August 14th after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Elizabeth (Bogard) Lewis; a daughter, Sandra (Chris) Wharton of Colorado Springs, Co; a son, Bill Lewis of Fowlerville; 2 granddaughters, Deanna Lewis of Kalamazoo, MI, and Whitney (Brad) Pearson of Rio Rancho, N.M; 2 great grandchildren, Mason and Lily of N.M; 2 brothers, Ted of Lakeland FL, and Marion (Jean) Lewis of Granbury, TX; also several nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Lewis of Willis, MI. Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Hannah Lewis; 2 brothers, Othell of Roy, Utah and Harry Lewis of Willis, MI; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Pat Bogard of Nashville, TN and a sister-in-law LeWanna of Lakeland FL. Lew was a mechanic and computer technician of U-Haul in Detroit, MI.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Williamston, MI. Graveside Services are being held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Jackson Cemetery in New Johnsonville, TN at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Greer of the Grace Baptist of Camden, TN. Officiating.
