Euchre Fun Night ‘a success’ for Friends of Webberville Library
The recent Euchre Fun Night Fundraiser sponsored by the Friends of the Webberville Library was a hit! Thirty-six people from the area turned out to play cards, socialize, enjoy refreshments, and some even won some fantastic prizes.
Top prize for the evening was a $40 gift certificate graciously donated by Carol Stow, proprietor of “Fool’s Gold” in Webberville. The top finisher and recipient of this prize was delighted! Other prizes included a gift certificate to “C & J Pizza” in Webberville and the “Sun Theater” in Williamston.
Every Euchre Fun Night also includes a special prize for the individuals who finish at the bottom of the pack. These lucky folks always take home farm fresh eggs donated by Nick and Jeannie Bosworth! On this particular evening, Bill and Janice Wheeler took home the eggs!
The Friends would like to thank all who participated and helped with this fundraiser. Mark your calendars, because the next Euchre Fun Night has been set for January 28th.
