Chris Wisuri
Chris Wisuri, 56, of Fowlerville, passed away Tuesday October 11, 2016. His family was by his side as he drifted off to be with the Lord. He was born to Helen and Theodore Wisuri of Livonia on August 21, 1960. Chris was a graduate of Livonia Stevenson High School. Chris spent many years coaching in various youth sports programs, but was most passionate about coaching football. He also spent his time volunteering as a coach with the Livingston County Special Olympics. Chris enjoyed many outdoor activities, including hunting and fishing as well as spending summers at his family farmhouse in northern Michigan. Chris, along with his wife Molly, owned a group home for the developmentally disabled. Chris was a loving, husband, father, grandfather, brother and son.
Chris is survived by his wife: Molly, his children: Andrew, Rick (Carlyn), Thomas, Josh Rodgers, Michael and Cianna Rodgers, and his grandson: Kellan. Chris is also survived by his mother: Helen Wisuri, his brother: William Wisuri (Wendy), and sisters: Dianne Pietila (Thomas) and Debbie Niemi (Jeff) as well as many nieces and nephews. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Wisuri, brother, Mark Wisuri and brother-in-law, Thomas Pietila.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Herrmann Funeral Home in Fowlerville. Visitations were held Friday, October 14 from 5-8 pm and Saturday from 10 to 11 am.
