Charles D. Keesler 
 Charles “Chuck” D. Keesler, age 87 of Fowlerville, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016.  He was born March 30, 1929 in Oak Grove, MI, the son of the late Roy A. and Vera Mae (Brown) Keesler.  Beloved husband of Barbara J. (Pearce) Keesler whom he married July 1, 1950 in Oak Grove.  Loving father of Cindy (Fred) Denby and Jim (Patti) Keesler, both of Fowlerville. Proud grandfather of Angie Denby of Philadelphia, PA, Brandon Denby of Fowlerville and Mitchell Keesler of Perry, MI; also survived by four great grandchildren, brother, Clayton Keesler of Howell, nieces and nephews.  
    He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer on September 8, 1983, one brother and one sister. 
     Charles was a graduate of Michigan State University in 1951 with a Bachelor’s Degree in business.  He worked for Citizens Mutual Auto Insurance as Vice President in charge of personnel.  He and Barb owned and operated Keesler Furniture Store in Fowlerville for 16 years.  Chuck and Barb also trained standard bred horses at the Utter Farm in Fowlerville.  They trained two world record holders.  Chuck enjoyed golfing, MSU sports and especially MSU Girls Basketball.  
    Visitation was held on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Funeral services took place on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 11 a.m. at MacDonald’s Funeral Home, Howell.
