Mark Daniel VanAmberg
Mark Daniel VanAmberg, age 53, of Southgate, Michigan passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023.
Mark was raised in Fowlerville, MI and attended Fowlerville High School. He graduated with his bachelor's degree from Northern Michigan University in 1993 and worked as a medical technologist for the last 30 years. Mark was very dedicated to his work and to his co-workers. Mark was also an avid baseball fan (especially the Detroit Tigers) and sports memorabilia collector as he loved opening a fresh pack of baseball cards. He traveled to the major league ballparks and several minor league parks with his brother, dad, uncle and nephew, making it to 24 ballparks in total.
Mark also enjoyed traveling to the Upper Peninsula, watching scary movies, and indulging in his eclectic music taste. Mark was just a nice guy. It was the first thing that anyone was sure to comment about when they mentioned him. Mark will always be remembered for being a hard worker and a loyal person. He will forever be missed by his loving family and friends.
Mark was the loving son of Dale and Billie VanAmberg. Dear brother of Greg (Debbie) VanAmberg. Cherished uncle of Gabrielle VanAmberg and Jacob VanAmberg. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Memorial Gathering for Mark was being held Saturday, March 11th from 10am-1pm with a Memorial Service at 1pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI
A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, April 15th at Trinity United Methodist Church, 8201 Iosco Rd, Fowlerville
