Would you like to learn more about the Art of Composting? Then join us, Recycle Livingston and Amy Freeman, organics maven, for a fun and informative class.
You too can become an expert backyard composter!
When: March 31st
Two Classes: 3:00 to 5:00 or 6:30 to 8:30 pm

Minimum Class size: 10 Maximum Class size: 30
Cost: $25 for members of Recycle Livingston
$30 for Non-members

Wondering just what this class will cover? You will learn about food waste reduction and food recovery. Learn why it is important to the health of our soils and planet. You will be given examples that you can touch, smell and observe and learn about the process and stages of composting, along with troubleshooting tips and things to avoid.
Let’s not forget learning about vermicomposting (the importance of worms).
