Oak Grove United Methodist Church celebrating 150th anniversary on May 22
The Oak Grove United Methodist Church is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year. To commemorate the milestone, a special service is being held at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday, May 22, with Rev. Lawson Crane—a former pastor—serving as the guest speaker.
Current pastors, Rev. Doug McMunn and Rev. Marianne McMunn, will also be speaking during the service.
Event organizers have invited all previous living pastors, as well as former members of the church to attend. After the service, a dinner is being held in the Fellowship Hall, where historical photos and other memorabilia will be on display and those attending can share memories.
In September, a Fall Festival is planned which will include fun activities, food, and a car & tractor show.
