Donations still being accepted for Grandma’s Attic Sale at fairgrounds
This is the last week to gather items for donation to the Annual Grandma's Attic Sale, the spring fundraiser for The Livingston Centre Historic Society. Scheduled for Thurs., Fri., and Sat., May 19 - 21, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., the sale is held inside the Commercial Building inside the front entrance of the Fowlerville Family Fairgrounds. Nearby parking is free.
Volunteers are needed on the days that items are brought in, and on the days of the sale.
Donations will be accepted Sun. - Wed., May 15 - 18, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or by appointment. As you continue spring cleaning and organizing, please consider donating to this fundraising event for the benefit of the Historic Village, located there inside the Fairgrounds. Your generosity will help restore and preserve Livingston County's history.
Accepted items include smaller furniture (please, no sofas nor overstuffed chairs), clothing and jewelry, kitchen and household, toys, tools and hardware items, fabrics and crafts, stationary, books and DVD's (please no VHS tapes), smaller sporting goods, collectables and vintage items. The historic society appreciates your donations of good condition, usable items; please make sure all pieces and parts are included, and that everything works.
Unfortunately, in addition to the items noted above, the following items will NOT be accepted: TV cabinets/consoles and monitors, large exercise and sports equipment, computers and other electronics, medical or handicap bathroom equipment, mattresses and large headboards.
For more information about volunteering or drop-off, please call Matt. D. at 517-294-6710.
