 Norman James Allison

Norman James Allison died peacefully on November 4, 2021. He was born on September 16, 1931 to James and Mamie Allison of Fowlerville. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Reed and granddaughter Sarah Smith earlier this summer. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Barbara, his daughter Lindy Smith (James), grandchildren Brent Beebe (Amy), Aaron Smith, Allison Jagow (Alan), Tara Jueckstock and Jeri Presiozo-Evans. Great grandchildren Ava, Ethan and Gavin Beebe, Hazel, Dayla and Harper Smith, Spencer Presiozo, Tyler Presiozo and Rowan Jagow.

Norman served in the Korean War from 1952-1954 as a radio operator and worked for the Grand Trunk Railroad for 43 years. He was a collector of military artifacts and was focused on anything historical. His greatest love was for his family.

A memorial gathering was held on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to Noon at St. Johns Lutheran Church, with visitation held at Herrmann Funeral on Sunday from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Burial followed at Greenwood Cemetery on Monday, November 8, at 10:00 a.m. with Military Honors.
