Robert Alan Maxwell
Robert Alan Maxwell (AKA Bubba Maxwell), age 55, passed away on November 12, 2021, following injuries sustained in an auto accident. Robert leaves behind his son Joseph Maxwell, his long-time girlfriend Lisa Lane and her children: Nicole (Johnny) Wilson, Kayli (Ryan) Jennings and Jordan Lane. He was known as Papa Robby to all seven of his grandchildren: Devin, Jayden, Carter, Makenzie, Averi, Paisley and Everly and loved them dearly.
Robert also leaves behind his mother Doris Maxwell, brother Donald Maxwell, sister Roxie Batterson, sister Dixie (Jim) Rudnicki, brother Ron (Katrina) Maxwell and brother John (Roxanne) Maxwell and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Maxwell.
Robert was a roofer his entire life, working for Local #70 until he retired a few years ago and went on his own to be self-employed as a roofer and jack of all trades.
He enjoyed anything outdoors, especially fishing and being on the river. He and Lisa enjoyed camping every spring and summer. He was a story teller and loved to tell his stories, repeatedly. He had the gift to gab and could talk the ear off anyone.
He loved spending time with his many friends and was the life of the party.
To know Robert was to love Robert. He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
Visitation took place Tuesday, Nov. 16, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., with the Funeral held Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 11:00 a.m. at Herrmann Funeral Home. A private burial took place on Thursday at Webberville Cemetery.
