Thelma J. Rossetter
Thelma J. Rossetter went to be with her Lord on July 7, 2021 at the age of 96. She was born in Fowlerville on June 25, 1925 to Ford and Agnes (Radford) Grostic. She graduated from Fowlerville High School in 1943 and married Gilbert Rossetter in 1946.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and served as a Sunday School teacher, youth leader, sang in the choir, and was a pianist and organist for many years. She was a Past Noble Grand of Rebekah Lodge #241, a life member and Past Matron of Chapter 277, and a life member of the Grand Chapter of Michigan, OES.
Thelma is survived by her 3 sons: David (Nancy) of Howell MI, Gilbert (Carrie) of Fort Worth, Texas, and Paul (Alina) of Howell MI; 9 grandchildren: Kristen, Erik, Chad, Ivy, Sean, Andrew, Kirk, Zachary, and David; 7 great-grandchildren: Taylor, Samantha, Erik, Owen, Emily, Odin, and Sunny; and 3 great great-grandchildren: Jayce, Lillian, and Beau. She is also survived by her brother, Marvin, and sister, Ruth, both of Kalamazoo MI, and sister-in-law, Joan Weygandt of Lake Odessa, MI.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 3 sisters: Margaret Carol, Bonnie Hotzapal, and Ione Simpson.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Fowlerville at a later date.
