SATURDAY, JUNE 5th, 2021

9TH ANNUAL 5K/1-Mile

RUN FOR THE IMPACT

LOCATION: Starts/Ends at the Family Impact WELLNESS Center – 9430 W. Grand River, Fowlerville, MI. Our 5K Course runs through the UB Church Community Fields - through the bean fields - into the wooded trail and then loops back to start!

DATE/TIME: Saturday, June 5th, 2021.

ATTENTION: THERE IS NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION THIS YEAR. 5K Chip-Timed Race starts @ 9am and 1-Mile event follows.

VIRTUAL RUN OPTION: May 29th- June 12th You pick your place and time to run/walk a mile or a 5K, alone or with friends. Register at runsignup.com (see below). Record your time and a picture on the Family Impact Centers Facebook Page (https://tinyurl.com/FICrun2021). For both OPTIONS: Pre-register by May 28th in order to receive a T-shirt.

AWARDS: Participatory medals to all 1- Milers. 5K Medals for 1st-3rd places in 14 age categories, and M/F Overall, M/F Grand Masters (50-64), and M/F Great Grand Masters (65-over).

WHY? Help support the ongoing work of the Family Impact Centers, which is in its 19th year of providing Client-Choice Food Pantry, Clothing, Counseling, Educational Resources, Mentoring Programs and Support Groups for area families. This is possible due to community volunteers, the generous support of local businesses/churches, and of course YOU!

Our focus for this run/walk continues to be on Health and Wellness. Our race is endorsed by the Michigan Fitness Foundation! We encourage you to participate with other community members as we join together both in support of those in need and to promote health and wellness for all.

2021 GOAL: We have a goal of over 221 participants and we need you, your family and your friends to attend in force once again!
