David A. Warner
David A. Warner passed away on Tuesday, May 4, at the age of 67. The youngest of six children, he was born on April 10, 1954 to Robert and Joan Warner of Fowlerville. He graduated from Fowlerville High School in 1972. He married Diana K. Clark, with whom he raised three children. They divorced in 1982. Later, he met Jackie Kiss, whom he married in 1990.
Dave was a skilled carpenter and builder who valued family. He taught his children the importance of family and the value of doing a job right. A loving and devoted husband, loyal son, brother, and uncle, perhaps Dave’s favorite role was that of grandpa. He loved playing and joking with his four grandsons. Dave loved God, his large extended family and the Spartans. In the past couple years, he surprised all his family and friends by forming a strong attachment with his cat, Wizzer.
David is predeceased by his son, Eric James Warner in 1991, his mother, Joan Warner in 1997, and his father, Robert Warner in 2016.
David is survived by his wife, Jackie Lyn Warner of Mason; his siblings: Patricia Diericks of Flint Township, Linda Warner of Holt, Robert Warner of Fowlerville, Steven (Kathy) Warner of Vermontville, and James (Sharon) Warner of Byron; his son, Adam Warner of Grand Rapids; his daughter and son-in-law Melissa and Thomas Hale of Grand Rapids, and his four grandchildren: Aaron Hale, Kian Hale, Taegan Hale and Camden Hale.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) in David’s name. Services were held at Compass Church in Mason, and David was buried at Alchin Farm Cemetery in Webberville.
