Livingston Centre Historic Village committee to meet June 2

at fair office

The Livingston Centre Historic Village committee will meet Wednesday, June 2, at 7:00 p.m. in the Fowlerville Fair Office. This meeting will begin a new schedule as traditionally this committee met on the first Thursday of each month, March through December. Monthly meetings will now be held the first Wednesday of the month. Meetings will continue to begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Fair Office.

With a new season underway, the first item on the agenda will be to elect new officers. Then the final report of the Gramma's Attic Sale will be given. This annual fundraiser for the upkeep and improvement of the Historic Village was again very successful, thanks to community support, hours and hours of volunteering, and very generous shoppers!

The committee will also discuss plans for the week of the Fowlerville Family Fair, July 26 - 31, including both hours for touring the historic buildings and for manning the raffle ticket sale table. Finally, plans are beginning to take shape for the annual Fall Fest, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 11.

Anyone interested in the preservation of the history and structures of early Livingston County is welcome to attend. It's a great time to join in the important work of this committee as they get into full swing for the 2021 season.
