It’s Not Supposed to Be This Way:  Wednesdays (October 21 – November 25) from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.  This 6-week video-based study by Lysa TerKeurst focuses on finding unexpected strength when tragedies and disappointments leave you shattered. She deeply understands daily and life-altering loss after walking through her own valley, which taught her that in God we can find unexpected strength as we wrestle between our faith and feelings. With solid biblical truth and gut-honest vulnerability, Lysa will teach how to get through painful situations and gain life-giving perspectives for our time here on earth. Cost for the Bible study is $15.  This fee covers both the participant’s guide (for notetaking during class as well as for each week’s personal studies) and her 281-page hard-cover book, which we’ll be reading during the 6 weeks.  Scholarships are also available.

Surviving the Holidays:  Wednesday, November 18 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  (This is part of Grief Share but is held separately. You do not need to be a current member of the program in order to attend.)  No matter how long it has been since your loved one has passed away, grief can make Thanksgiving and Christmas a painful time.  But there is hope… This informative and encouraging video seminar will help you get through your difficult times as well as discover new ways to enjoy the holidays again. It is free of charge. Please pre-register by Friday, November 13th.
