Kathleen Dianne Byrnes
Kathleen Dianne Byrnes, 69, daughter of Raymond & Dorothy Seeley, passed away of ovarian cancer May 2, 2020 at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA. She was born in Minneapolis, MN and grew up in Walled Lake, MI, Fowlerville, MI, where she graduated in 1969, Haslett, MI and most recently lived in Torrance, CA. She attended her 50th class reunion with her twin sister Karen in June 2019.
She was a member of Hope Chapel in Hermosa Beach, CA and made her home in Southern California for fifty years. She worked in security at Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, CA and was a Mary Kay consultant for forty years, where she received many medals and awards and met Mary Kay in Dallas.
She married Larry Byrnes in 1977 and he passed in 2001. Kathy enjoyed traveling with her sister to Hawaii and to Twins Days festivals in Twinsburg, OH.
She is survived by her twin sister Karen (Ed) Grab of Cohoctah; brother John Seeley of Haslett, MI; sister-in-law Janet (Raymond Jr) Seeley; niece Valerie (Mark) Keach; great nephew and niece Emerson and Constance Keach; and special friend Jeff Stine of Woodland Hills, CA. Kathy was preceded in death by Raymond and Dorothy Seeley, Raymond Seeley Jr; and Larry Brynes.
A graveside interment will be held Saturday, October 17 at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 14378 Webster Rd, Bath Township, MI. Visitation will began at 12:30 p.m.
