St. John’s Lutheran Church invites you to attend its Second Annual Spring Concert at 7:00 pm on Saturday, April 13.
“This year’s event is greatly expanded over last year’s,” explained St. John’s youth director and event coordinator, Mike Scheib. “The high school jazz band and choir are back, of course, and better than ever. But our expanded program includes performances by violinist, Tracy Beauregard of the Livingston Symphony Orchestra, and pianist Jared Burseth, a graduate student at MSU and church musician.”
The intermission will feature a silent auction of items and services donated by many of Fowlerville’s local organizations and businesses.
There is no fee to attend the concert, but donations will be collected to help support the event’s musical organizations and performers. A portion of the proceeds will also supplement funding for new youth-centered programming at the church.
“No one at St. John’s wants to be viewed as a place that’s only open on Sundays, said Scheib. “We are committed to expanding our role in the neighborhood by establishing partnerships to address the needs and concerns of our community.
“Showcasing local talent is a privilege,” he added. “We are honored and excited to host this event for our community.
