Memorial being held for Norman ‘Bob’ Crofoot
on Saturday, May 4
A memorial is being held for Norman Robert (Bob) Crofoot at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, at the Fowlerville VFW Hall, located at 215 Veterans Drive. The service will begin at 1 p.m. Come share your memories with family and friends. A light luncheon will follow. Come and meet his best friend, ‘Buddy’ who will be in attendance.
A lifelong resident of Fowlerville, he passed on April 1, 2019 at age 97. He was born Dec. 26, 1921.
Bob was a beloved brother to William, Wallace, Paul, Richard, John (all of them now deceased) and to George of Fowlerville and Edna of Florida—both who survive him. He is also survived by his son, Thomas, and daughter, Jane. His granddaughter, great granddaughters, and several neices and nephews will miss his great smile and many stories.
During his long life Bob was a farmer, hauled milk for Twin Pines Dairy, drove truck for D & J Gravel, and delivered flowers for Countryside Florist in Howell. He was one of the last surviving members of the Fowlerville High School Class of 1940. He was a very proud veteran, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
