FFA Plant Sale slated for May 12-14 during Mother’s Day Weekend
The annual Webberville FFA plant sale is back during Mother’s Day Weekend at the chapter’s greenhouse next to Webberville High School. The sale runs May 12-14. The greenhouse will be open Friday 3-6pm and on Saturday and Sunday 10 am -2 pm. There are over 20,000 annuals and vegetables along with over 700 perennials raised by FFA members and alumni.
The revenue from the sale goes towards the chapter’s career development activities and the expenses of sending FFA members to the National FFA Leadership Conference in Washington D.C.
FFA member Tyler Wyatt was organizing the perennials to get ready for the sale, with help from retired agriscience teacher William Wheeler.
